REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: A signed contract and insurance certificate with endorsement is required. We will send you a contract for e-signature after your inquiry. Renter must also provide us with a Certificate of Insurance with an Endorsement with the following information: Additional Insured and Loss Payee: Galloway Creative LLC DBA Salt Box Studio 6061 Lake Murray Blvd. La Mesa, CA 91942 General Liability Minimum acceptable limits: Each Occurrence $1,000,000 Personal Injury $1,000,000 General Aggregate $2,000,000 Certificate with Endorsement can be mailed to the address above and/or emailed to: hello@thesaltbox.studio ***Please note, a certificate without an endorsement from the insurer is not adequate and will need to be re-done. If you don’t have a GL policy or don’t have time to get a certificate with endorsement, you can get Short Term Special Event Insurance in minutes from: https://www.thimble.com/ https://www.theeventhelper.com/ TIME: Load-in and load-out time is included in the reserved time slot. Any set-up and clean-up necessary for the event is included during the time booked. OVERTIME: Per Peerspace's policy, overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate. PARKING: Free Onsite Parking: You can back into the spot in front of the unit to unload equipment. Otherwise, please park in the spots facing the gas station. Do NOT park in the 4 spots directly in front of the gym next door. Free Street Parking: Lots of spots on neighboring streets. WALLS: No nails, push pins, etc. allowed to be nailed into any of the walls. Removable 3M hooks that peel clean from the wall may be used for hanging items. All tape and markings on floors or walls will be removed from the space. Floors are painted concrete so please limit tape usage as it might pull up floor finish. OFF LIMIT AREAS: Upstairs is off limits, unless prior permission has been granted. All drawers, and cabinets and all the inventory inside belonging to studio owner is off limits. EQUIPMENT RENTAL: Basic Grip Equipment is included (C-Stands, Apple Boxes, Sand Bags). Check availability if you need a specific type or quantity. Stills and Video equipment is available for rent. Cameras, lenses, Digital Capture Station, etc. Additional Grip and Lighting (Strobe or Continuous) is available for rent with prior notice. BACKGROUNDS, PROPS, AND SURFACES: Background paper/fabric, props, and surfaces may be rented for an additional change. FURNISHINGS: Any furniture is included in the rental. The studio is designed to provide flexibility in the layout. Most of the furnishings are on wheels for easy moving. Furniture can be moved within the space and used for production purposes. Feel free to move things around as needed, but please return everything to its original location. Please remember to unplug things, if necessary, before moving them. Should any items be damaged during usage, client will be charged for the repair/replacement/cleaning of each item. Furniture is to be used as intended. No sitting on the backs of the sofas, no stepping or sitting on the tables, no stepping on chairs, sofas, or benches. NO EVENTS OR PARTIES: Sorry to say that we can’t host birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, holiday parties, album release parties, booze filled ragers, or funerals. SMOKING: No smoking in or near the studio. DRUGS/ALCHOL: No drug or alcoholic beverage consumption in or near the space. MUSIC/NOISE: Please keep noise levels at an appropriate level to be respectful to our neighbors. PETS: Service dogs are allowed, but no other animals are allowed inside of the space. CLEAN UP: Return the space in the same condition you received it. Please clean up space after use. All trash must be taken out at the end of your event - there are dumpsters on the property for your convenience. All furnishings and items belonging to the house and used during the event must be placed back in their original location following the event. NUDITY: Nudity is allowed. Pornography is not allowed.
